Our Privacy
Without beating around the bush. Your data is yours — we keep it for the time strictly needed and protect it as if it were ours.

Who we are
Iboo is a pre-launch project building a physical illustrated book with built-in AI for children aged 2 to 8. The data controller is the Iboo team, reachable at the email at the bottom of this page.
What data we collect
At this waitlist stage we only collect:
- Your name (so we can write to you like a human).
- Your email (to let you know when Iboo is ready).
- Any answers you freely give us in case of an interview.
Why we process them
- To manage the waitlist and contact you at launch.
- To send you project updates, only if you opt in.
- For aggregate, anonymous audience analytics.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the box in the signup form (art. 6.1.a GDPR). You can withdraw it any time by writing to us.
Where and for how long
Data is stored on European servers via our cloud provider, with encryption in transit and at rest. We keep it as long as you stay on the waitlist, and for up to 24 months after launch if you no longer engage with us.
Your rights
At any time you can request to:
- Access your data and get a copy.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete everything (right to be forgotten).
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Port your data elsewhere.
- Lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
